Band
Band is for students in grade 4 and 5. Band instruments include: Flute, Clarinet, Alto Saxophone, Trumpet, Trombone and Percussion (drums and xylophone). Registration for the band program starts at the beginning of the school year and runs through the end of September 19th. The band performs in many concerts during the school year for the public and for the students at school. Families must provide an instrument for their child to participate in the program. Welcome Back Information
Students that have already played an instrument for a year with Mrs. Burd need to turn in the form below to let her know what they will be playing for this school year. Mrs. Burd needs this information to create a lesson schedule. Instrument lessons will begin after Mrs. Burd receives this information from your child.

Mrs. Jodie Burd has been teaching instrumental music in the Penn Hills School District for the last 25 years. She is a graduate on Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a bachelors of Science in music education.
