The LMS PTA is excited to invite students to the upcoming Scholastic Book Fair! We are excited to have our first Scholastic Book Fair of this school year to give students the opportunity to build their home libraries and further their love of reading. As always, all purchases directly benefit our school.
Penn Hills Elementary was recently featured on Pittsburgh Today Live for a continuation of a discussion on the science of reading and reading instruction. Penn Hills Elementary was first featured by Andy Sheehan in a segment produced for the Monday, September 11th 6 and 10 PM newscasts.

I hope you are well. As I'm sure you are already aware, earlier this summer district superintendent Dr. Nancy Hines announced her retirement effective October 2023. As a result, the Penn Hills Board of School Directors has contracted with the Pennsylvania School Boards Association (PSBA) to search for a new superintendent. This process is already underway.
The Linton Middle School PTA is looking for new members to join its team! We are a group of parents, teachers, and community members who work together to support our school and its students. We organize events, raise funds, and advocate for our school's needs.
