Become a substitute teacher

Penn Hills School District has partnered with Kelly Education to provide day-to-day substitute teachers and instructional aides. Active PA teaching certificates, inactive certifications, or Act 86 for college students with 60-plus credits in education will be accepted. Community-Based Reform Initiatives

Dr. Nancy Hines, Superintendent, addresses the board about community-based reform efforts being undertaken by the District in collaboration with community-based agencies and groups.

Class of 2023 Commencement

Commencement exercises for the Class of 2023 will be held on June 9, 2023 at 6:30 PM at Yuhas-McGinley Stadium. Beginning at 6:15 p.m., the event will be broadcast live on phsd.org. 


 

Athletics and Activities Presentation

Stephanie Strauss, the district athletic director, gave a presentation to the board of directors about Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL), college recruitment, and public relations during the regular voting meeting in April.
