The Penn Hills School District makes every effort to provide accurate, up-to-date information to members of the media and the community. Please review the information below if you are interested in reporting on a story about the Penn Hills School District.

Interviewing School Administrators

Penn Hills School District administrators are educational leaders who are prepared to speak with members of the media about pertinent issues. If you want to interview an official or a member of the staff, please call the Superintendent of Schools at 412-793-7000, Ext. 1282.

PHSD School Visits

Media members must be accompanied by an administrator or assigned staff member when visiting Penn Hills schools or buildings. Please contact the Superintendent of Schools at 412-793-7000, Ext. 1282 to schedule a visit with the District.

Photographing Students or Employees

The Penn Hills School District follows FERPA, which allows parents and students to opt out of the release of certain information. Before any photographs of PHSD students or staff members are published, district staff must confirm that they are appropriate and that the proper release information is on file.
