Procedural Safeguards

We are dedicated to ensuring that every student, including those with special needs, receives an education that is not only inclusive but also respects their rights and individuality. This notice serves as a valuable resource for families navigating the special education process. It provides comprehensive information about the procedural safeguards in place to protect the rights of students with disabilities and their families. Our commitment to transparency and collaboration is reflected in this document, offering insights into evaluation procedures, placement decisions, and the resolution of disputes. We encourage parents and guardians to explore this page to become well-informed advocates for their child's educational journey, fostering a partnership that enhances the overall success and well-being of students with special needs in the Penn Hills School District.
