Device Lending Program

The PHSD implements Microsoft Office 365, a suite of applications that operates mostly "in the cloud," for student and staff use.  With the district’s implementation of a 1:1 device initiative, it is important that remote learning is successful and Office365 is a technological backbone of that need.

  • The 1:1 device initiative has provided all students with one of the following: a Chromebook, a laptop, a Surface tablet, or an iPad. While each device functions differently, all have access to an internet browser, where students will sign into Clever upon logging into the device. An important note to remember is that YOU MUST CONNECT YOUR DEVICE TO YOUR HOME WI-FI to access the internet.
  • Students in Grades K-12 will take devices home daily throughout the school year. All devices will be protected by cloud-based content filtering both on-campus and remotely.
  • Devices must be insured for damage. Insurance payment can be made through the district website by clicking here.
