Lenovo 500e
Over the next two years the district will begin phasing out our fleet of Microsoft Surface tablets with the intention of fully transitioning to Chromebook devices in grades 1-12 by the 2025-2026 school year. Beginning in the 2023-2024 school year, student's in grades 1, 5, 9, and 10 will receive a new Lenovo 500e Chromebook. This device will remain with the student throughout the next four years of their enrollment in the Penn Hills School District. The device will only need to be returned at the conclusion of the student's fourth or eighth grade years, in the event of damage, withdrawal or upon graduation from the district.
