Celebrating Community: 5th Annual Penn Hills High School Reunion
Brian Brown

Each year, on the second Saturday of September, a unique tradition brings together generations of Penn Hills High School alumni, staff and community members at Penn Hills Park. What began as a small idea has grown into a heartfelt celebration of shared history, lasting friendships, and the deep roots that tie so many to the Penn Hills School District.

This year marks the 5th Annual Penn Hills Alumni Event, and we proudly welcome all graduating classes, families and friends of Penn Hills High School to join us in continuing this tradition on Saturday, September 13, 2025 from 12 p.m. - dark.

Over the years, attendees have included graduates from as early as the Class of 1947 through the Class of 2006, representing nearly six decades of Penn Hills pride. This gathering is more than a reunion, it's a tribute to the spirit of a community that continues to support one another across generations.

One of the most meaningful aspects of this event is the special recognition of those who have dedicated their careers to the students of Penn Hills. In appreciation of their service, all Penn Hills School District employees, including Bus Garage staff, past and present, are always admitted free of charge. This is a small but sincere thank-you for the commitment and care shown to generations of students.

The event has become a staple in the Penn Hills calendar, with strong support from local leaders, including the Mayor of Penn Hills, who attends each year. The presence of current school district administrators and teachers is always encouraged and appreciated, reinforcing the bond between past and present within the Penn Hills community.

To stay informed and connected, all are encouraged to join the official Facebook group:
"Penn Hills High School 40's/50's/60's/70's/80's/90's/2000's Party @ PH Park," where updates, photos, and event details are shared throughout the year.

As we look ahead to this year’s event, we extend a warm welcome to everyone with a connection to Penn Hills. Whether you’re returning for the first time or have attended every year, your presence helps keep this tradition alive.

We look forward to seeing familiar faces and welcoming new ones as we celebrate the enduring legacy of Penn Hills High School.

Please note: This is not a school-sponsored program.
