It is with deep sorrow that we acknowledge the passing of Officer Joseph "Ramir" Lewis-Hicks, who served as Assistant Director of School District Safety and Security.
In honor of his memory, and to allow our high school students and staff the opportunity to attend his Homegoing Celebration, Penn Hills High School will operate on a half-day schedule on Tuesday, June 3, 2025. Students will be dismissed at 10:00 a.m. All high school students will receive a bagged lunch at dismissal.
Linton Middle School and Penn Hills Elementary School will follow their regular full-day schedules.
Officer Hicks's visitation will take place on Tuesday, June 3, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., with the service immediately following at Judah Ministries International Worship Center (525 Market Street, McKeesport, PA).
