End-of-Year and Summer Calendar Reminders

• As of Tues, May 30 and Beyond – All 3 school driveways will be shifting to lockdown status for the bulk of the school day.  Any driver attempting to access PHSD school grounds during regular business hours will be stopped by a private, armed security officer who will screen the driver and confirm the driver’s nature of business with PHSD.  *PLEASE BE ADVISED AND EXPECT that travel patterns will be affected near and around our 3 schools as we launch this newest component of our PHSD security model.
• Fri, June 9 – last day of school for students; Commencement for the Class of 2023 (6:30 pm; ticket required)
• June 12-July 27 – PHHS Safe Spaces Summer Session Mon-Thurs from 10 am-2 pm.  *Available for interested PHHS grade 9-12 students (as of 23/24 school year).  Advanced registration required.  See our website for the flyer and QR code.
• Mon, June 19 – PHSD CLOSED in recognition of Juneteenth
• Tues, July 4 – PHSD CLOSED in recognition of US Independence Day
• Mon, Aug 14 – Instructional Staff return for 23/24 prep, training, etc.
• Sat, Aug 19 – Our PHSD Communitywide Back to School Street Fair at PHHS *more details forthcoming
• Tues, Aug 22 – 1^st Day of School of 23/24 Academic Year for Students
