Maggie Watson Replenishment Blood Drive
A local community member needs your help! Maggie Watson, a 49-year-old Plum Borough resident and mother of two, is in the fight of her life. In 2018, Maggie was diagnosed with breast cancer and successfully underwent a double mastectomy and chemotherapy.
This September, Maggie was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer that has spread to her bones and bone marrow. This type of cancer requires Maggie to undergo weekly blood transfusions along with her chemotherapy. As a guidance counselor at Linton Middle School in Penn Hills, she is dedicated to her students and community.
Join in replenishing the local blood supply and supporting Maggie on Sunday, November 3, from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Plum Community Center (499 Center New Texas Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15239).
